whats basically involved in removing the moldings? I am having some body work done on my 00 integra next week and one part involves the replacement of a molding. Its like 175 for the molding!! and it needs to be painted? I think im just gonna spend a little more and have it shaved, but what would that involve?

 

you're gonna be spending more than "a little more." it's prolly gonna run you ~$1000, give or take some. why so much you ask? it involves, welding, bondo, sand/grind, paint and color match.....basically painting almost the whole car, and labor plays a big role.
