is it unnecessary to primer the whole car? should i only primer where i do body filler work? im not gonna take out every little ding but anything that you can see pretty good im gonna take it out so before paint i kno i use scotchbrite and can paint it there but if im gonna drive it after sanding i should primer?

 

i'd only primer the areas u did body work on

 

if you changing the color of the car i would prime the whole car spray guide coat on the car then block the car out

 

no im gonna repaint it the same color ive done my bumper about a year ago i ended up priming the whole bumper and then i used guide coat and sanded it down and had a friend paint it he just didnt do as good of a job as he claimed so im gonna do body work and pay a real painter to just do it

 

i prime the whole car an block the whole car with 400 an make sure its straight
