yesterday i was on my way to my girls house. ( in my 91 CRX with a DOHC ZC ) i just got the crx runing 5 days a go, back on track now i was going down the road at like 60 i hear a sqeecking noise and then it slowed down i didnt now what was going on cuz the car slowed down i down shifted and it just died so i rolled in a parking lot. My baby is just chillin out in some parking lot all by it self now i need a step by step process to tell me how to take it off and put on the new belt, and a list of tools if you can.
thanks alot,

well you dont tell us if it has ps or ac or what so its harder to tell youa step by step
idk if you need detail or just overall, i can give you a quick overall
loosen alt bolts and take off alt belt, take off crank pulley, take off valve cover, take off timing cover, loosen timing belt tensioner, take off timing belt, it would be a good idea to change the water pump too, put new timing belt back on, spin engine and then tighten tensioner, once the tensioner is tighten i like to spin the engine a few times to make sure it doesnt jump, put timign cover back on, put crank pulley back on, put valve cover back on, put back on alt belt and pull on alt to get rid of slack and tighten it down.
you also need a torgue wrench, all the basic sockets metric sockets in 1/2 and 3/8 with rachets. crank pulley will be too hard to take off unless you got air tools so it would be better to take it to a mechanic and have him just break it and put it on kinda tight so it will be easy for you to take off, i forget what size it is, eitehr 18 or 19

oh yeah i forgot about the drivers side mount you gotta take off.
i was just reading through that and its a pretty good description of the timing belt replace, just go through that and skip the step that you dont need. dont need to be so picky i mean someone gives you a step by step and you just say i need more. didnt you just think of not doing the step if you dont have that accessory. its pretty simple
you could easily go buy a manual of some kind and it will tell you along with give you torque specs. but if you need someone to tell you what tools you need and how to do it then i dont think you should be doing this because if you do it wrong you can break you engine.

engines are pretty much the same, only difference would be that you got a dohc zc so you need to time 2 cams instead of just one, but they should have markers on the cam gears so it shouldnt be too hard. if you know hwo to do it on one honda engien, then you can do it on all honda engine, all of them arent that far apart.
