What fuel lines work with MPFI conversion/b16a?
What fuel lines work with MPFI conversion/b16a? Coming from the fuel filter to the fuel rail. Will 88-89 integra one work?
Thanks
Thanks
I'm sure the dx one will work, but i think it would be alot better for you to upgrade to a 1.6 fuel line from an si which is bigger in diameter allowing more fuel to get into the rail...
I just got a new fuel line (b16a in an 89 Si). The correct part from hondaautomotiveparts.com was over 50 bucks, but I noticed fuel lines got cheaper the newer the car was. So I chanced it and got one for a 99 Civic LX. I had to dremel off a metal clip that was tacked on to one of the fittings, but other than that, it worked fine. Saved me about 35 bucks.

Ive been using the fuel line from my 1.5 for the last 8,000 miles or so.
Should I upgrade to a 1.6 fuel line?
Does anyone know for sure if there is a difference?

I'm wraping my MPFI swap up now. The 1.6 Fuel line was left on, and compared to the DX at a glance they look the same in diameter. I can give you a accurate estimate tomorrow if you like.

when i looked at my friends crx si, the hose looked the same size but the 'banjo' end looked different(where it hooks to the fuel rail).
Its been awhile i may be remembering incorrectly.

can someone take a pic of their DPFI line so that I can compare? I'm really not sure what I'm running with my B16A and if I'm using the DX one I will definately pick up a DA or Si one.
I'm sorry if this isnt exactly 100% accurate. But the one I got with the mani (Si), it looked like it was cut off right near the filter. When I compared it to my DX line, the DX line just seemed longer. Almost anything on the DX is longer to reach over to the DPFI as it seems to be more on the right side compared to the MPFI being more centered.
im 100% positive that the banjo ends (where it bolts the the filter and the fuel rail) are larger in diameter for the 1.6 than the 1.5. I'm not sure in performance (how can u measure? on a dyno?) if the 1.6 is better but it's obvious that you should use a 1.6 fuel line for a 1.6 fuel rail/intake/motor.

this is what I was wondering about. I put the dx line on the fuel rail and it looked like it had very little clearance between the banjo and the fuel rail. However I took it to the machine shop and they bored it out to the same size as the b18 line.
