Hey I was wonderin if anyone has had their ABS light stay on while they were driving. This happened to me yesterday night.. and my exhaust didnt sound quite the same so while I was drivin I pulled over to the side turned off my car and turned it back on and it was back to normal. So I was wondering if anyone knows what this is?

I have seen about 5 post from people with preludes talking about there abs light coming on lately. Mine has been on for about 3 months..weird

 

Most likely just loose/corroded wiring. It will go off if any of the wheel speed sensors are dead / not connected.

 

My ABS light came on one night and it hasn't gone off since. This was about 8 maybe 9 months ago if not longer. I don't what it is. I've tried everything and it just won't go off. I got used to it.

 

it happens when you leave the hand brake on and you start driving it...thats what happened to mine so i turn the car off and put the hand brake down and the abs light goes away...but if you forget to put it down and start driving, the light will just stay on...somebody correct me if i'm wrong but thats what happened to mine..

 

That is correct dflipmode..
The ABS light will come on if the e-brake is left on for more than 20 seconds while driving.

 

Interesting.. It only happened that one time while I was driving yesterday... today it was fine.... and yesterday I didnt leave the e-brake on... so im not sure.. but since everything seems to be fine now I guess its okay. Thanks guys.
