reply to what do you think
ok I do my own work because 1: I save money 2: If my car breaks I know how to fix it now and not pay a ripoff mechanic 3: if they do mess up your car how long will it take them to fix it or refund your money (forever) 4: who owns most the import speed shops young guys that dont (my $0.2) know **** and dont care about customer service 5: no matter how good they are they will not put the attention to detail that you would if you were working on it your self.
P.S. the post was put up to maybe wake some people up to the savings and experice that they will gain by doing thier own work
P.S.S I work 6 days a week and around 65-75 hrs a week and still find time (how strong is your addiction)

I dont know whats going on, but it seems mad offtopic.
To each their own...if you like turning a wrench, work on your car. Saves money and hassle with shops.
If you dont like it, pay someone who knows their ****. Simple enough?

I LOVE working on my car. I do it whenever i can. I even look for things to work on. It does help that i have a decent shop though.
