Default Lots of work ahead of me...

So I picked up my third crx si today in Elk Grove Ca which was a damn two hour drive but it was worth it. I picked up the car for 300.00. It needs a lot of interior work but the exterior is in good condition and came with the stock si motor and tranny and a clean title at that.

I can't wait to get some work put into this car. What did your project crx look like when you first got it? What does it look like now? I'm sorry if this falls under the pic thread but I'd like to see some before and after shots.

Hey dude I'm going to need a lot of interior stuff from you. I may have a buyer closer to home that's going to hook me up with some parts. However he doesn't have all the parts I need such as the cargo cover for the rear. Here is what I need:

Cargo Cover the whole thing
Center Console

That's pretty much it from what I can think of. The guy that I'm talking too has all the interior plastic parts which he's going to sell me for cheap, I'm also getting the glove box from him as well. I'm also going too need hood hinges as well which I hope he has.

So if you have the cargo cover and the center console available let me know. I may need the door panels but I want si door panels. If you have pics of your interior that would be great. Email me only at h22acoupe@yahoo.com or post here but I prefer email with prices and what not. Thanks.

Mr Crx that is one clean *** rex. You've put a lot into it I can tell. What mods do you have? I'm working on putting the interior back together now. It needs a lot of work. Let's just put it this way, it has no interior right now. If I had a digi cam I would take pics. Good lookin rex man and is that your tacoma? I have one too. mine is a 4 door. woot.

hey thanks. its always good to hear compliments!

mods include: Wings West kit, lowered on skunk2 coilovers with tokico blues. and i think the owner before me put that moonroof in. I havent seen any other crx's like that. it's just a piece of glass that pops up. i like it. I'm currently in the process of swapping a gsr motor into it now, so its pretty torn apart. heh. Inside its all stock with a Grant steerign wheel and a gsr shift ****. I think that's about it.

Oh, and thats not my tacoma. It belongs to a buddy of mine that I went to high school with. It's lifted like 3" on swayaway coils and its on 33" bfg's. he just got a tube front bumper with some 9" hellas and a massive skid plate. its a nice truck.

heres how it looks as of a couple weeks ago..

Damn dude a GSR Motor? Man I wish I had the money for one of those. Those motors are bad ***. I'm getting a second job soon so hopefully in a couple of months or so. Post up your progress bro once you get close to putting in that motor. I will be taking before and after pics as well once I get a new digi cam. What other future mods do you have other then the gsr swap?

It took me a while to commit to the GSR swap. For a while I just wanted a sohc vtec, and I had driven a b16 and a 1.8L (both n/a), but knew I wanted that extra torque in my car so i was set on getting it. but, other than the GSR swap, i probably wont be doing much for a while. i have to pay back some money i borrowed from my savings account. haha. after that, i figure i'll probably start doing some interior stuff or maybe get some new rims. my interior is decent for now.. so i'll get to it eventually.

once i get the motor in and passed by the referee and everything, i'll definitely post a thread about the progress and hopefully with some videos and whatnot. i'd rather wait and have an all-in-one package instead of bits here and there.
