now i'm running B16A P30 JDM ECU chipped with VAFC.
Yesterday, at fuel enrichments, during vtec engagements, i set my fuel up to 12% till 14%....and after that, CHECK light is on and my idling like hells. I stop the car and shut down the engine for a while. And resets my ECU by plugs it off for a while. And Plugs it on again and restart the engine. Engine running ok.
Why is this happen? Is ECU detect my settings as a boost? or ahything else can cause this problem?.........anybody here had facing this kind of problem before?.wanna share with me?..thanks.

another questions again about VAFC settings. My friend are using VTEC Killer camshafts from TODA right now. On Vtec engagements, should he sets it to Hi- 0000rpm and Lo - 0000rpm? cause there's no more vtec engagement.
Or else ?
Thanks.

You're exceeding MAP input voltage to the ECU. You can't add that much fuel before it throws the code.
For your friend, it doesn't matter....there's no solenoid to control anyways.

so, what is maximum percentage of fuel enrichment i can go? can i go untill 12% or just 11% and below?....
How about TODA Vtec killer cams settings? should i set it to 0000rpm for both Hi-cam and Lo-cam on vtec engagements?
Thanks.

It depends. Some engines can take more than others. Case-by-case, trial & error is really the only guide.
You don't have to touch the VTEC cross settings with VTEC killer cams. The VTEC solenoid is gone, so it doesn't matter.

Nope....still a case-by-case basis.
Tune the part throttle so that the long term fuel trims are within +/-5% and then tune the wide open throttle according to the dyno torque output and AFR's.

should i sets my narrow and wide throttle in the same percentage of enrichments? or else?..
another questions, - on Vtec Unmatched. What i'm concern on this settings is, we should sets it to Hi-0% and Lo-0%, unless we're using wide band O2. is this true?

It depends on the first question. Tune narrow throttle according to fuel trim and wide throttle according to the dyno and wideband.
Leave the VTEC unmatched at 0% for Lo->Hi and Hi->Lo. If you read the manual, you can figure out why they should be at 0%.
