Default the famous h22 question..

Hello.. I am wondering, i have a 94 accord coupe. I want to do a h22 swap the thing is im really hesitating.. OBD1 94-95 engine, or OBD2 97-01 engine.. the last generation seems to have alot more torque.. would it be worth the assle?
Im not planning any kind of turbo/supercharge.. just plain old mods, but i want to get the most possible out of it, without risking breaking anything neither..
Any suggesitons? Things i should really know about?

you have a OBDI accord stick with a OBDI H22 for ease, it's also cheaper too.

the obd1 motors are much less of a hassle, especially if you have on obd1 car...making an obd1 car obd2 would be a nightmare and i wouldn't recommend it...

Exactly, plus I don't really see any advantages of switching to obd2....h22 obd1 (h22a1) and h22 obd2 (h22a4??) are pretty much the same engine. The obd1 engine is cheaper NTM less wiring

This has some good swap info:
