do you think a block girdle is a must for ls v-tec turbo?
going ls v-tec turbo, motor is about to be put together do you think block girdle is a must. car will hopefully make 350+ low boost and 400+ high boost
definately not necessary. unless it is doweled and heavily machined after the block girdle is installed, it will do more harm than good

Do the mains always need to be machined (align honed) after or are they sometimes ok??
I have the Z-10 girdle and my mains and girdle have already been doweled but I havnt assembled the engine yet (still needs to be sleeved).
