99 civic eibach sportlines,will it work on an EF?

Default 99 civic eibach sportlines,will it work on an EF?

a friend of mine is selling his eibach sportlines for his 99 civic coupe i told him i might buy it but i'm not sure if it will lower my car the same. i remember seeing 88-00 civic springs are the same but i need to be sure can anyone confirm this ?

i dont think they will work...

i remember someone trying 88-00 springs (forgot which make it was) but they mentioned that it didnt lower it as to specs at all. It actually seemed to raise the height of the vehicle.

I myself had noname coilovers meant for 88-00 civics and i had to take out the 'helper spring' to actually have the car 'lowered'. Plus the diameter of the spring was bigger than stock which had me shaving off the insides of the rubber tops for the springs to fit.

thanks a lot! i knew the weight of the coupe would be a factor just wanted to make sure.
