well i figured out why my sunroof would kinda stay up on one side and would bounce up and down when i would hit any bump





this is what it should look like


as you can see the plastic piece is broken...honda will not sell that little plastic piece or box by itself...i have to get the entire cable which is $145 bucks or get the assembly for $175...

anyone have a broken sunroof with that part that works...its really easy to take out...you just have to cut this plastic piece off at the end of the cable by the rail and then pull it out...

What good will that do for us? Besides use it as a heavy *** serving tray.

 

i dont have a sunroof in my Si, i have a moonroof :thumbsup:

 

will an 89 hatch sunroof work for you ? I have a complete assembly I would let go cheap and it is in excelent working condition.

 

if eg is interchangeable i have a parts car that can be terrorized for ya.

pm me on jdmc since i am there more often if it will work.

 

I have a complete assembly I pulled out of a 90 Si that I have no history on.
The motor and tracks all probly work, I never checked but I could pull this part off for you.

 

I have an idea.....

the next time your looking to buy a crx, buy a DX or HF

you and these damn sunroofs, its like a curse that follows you or something
