I am ordering my sister a system for her B-day .
I want to know what size are the front bottom speakers. She has a 2000 Civic. I searched but found nothing. Im thinkin 5.25 but im not realy sure.
And are they they same size for the back speakers too. Im on auto toy and want to buy some audio from there. I know someone out there nows this.

 

I believe it is 5.25, though I'm sure 6.5s could be put in there provided they don't go too deep. Crutchfield will probably tell you if give 'em the car info.

 

You can fit a 6.5" speaker with decent sized magnet/basket if you cut out the platic basket that is behind the stock speaker.

 

It's 6.5 front, 6x9 back.

I have a set of pioneer TSA 6969 3 way 6X9's sitting in my room from my 00 civic EX i totalled last november along with the matching front 6.5 3 ways. They are 180 max 40 nominal for the fronts and 220 max 50 nominal for the rears

I guess they are pretty decent if you aren't an audiophile tha demands nakamichi components or something like that, i was happy with them and a panasonic mp3 hu. I'll let all 4 of them go cheap, PM if you're interested. I got a M3 with the harmon kardon upgrade stereo so i don't need em anymore
