Default What tranny should I go with.

Went to search but search server was down. Which Transmission should I go with on a B18c1 swap into a 88 CRX? I pretty stupid about this sort of thing, I have no clue whatsoever. Place where I'm buying from (HMO) has these listings:

Hydraulic Tranny (S80, Y80)
LSD Tranny ~extra 300$
or they have this +400$ Hydraulic to cable car conversion(I dont have any idea what this is?)

Just wanting to know which route I should go ... Thanx in advance

The GSR transmissions are hydraulic (usually referred to as "hydro" trannies), since your car was originally equipped with a cable trans, you either need another cable trans (like a CRX SiR, DA Integra) or you could buy a hydro trans and use a Hydro-cable conversion kit.

Yup time for more reasearch. They aren't even giving you a tranny choice there. They are giving you a choice of adding a LSD (Limited Slip Differential) and you need that $400 Hydro/Cable coversion to use that tranny and mount your new engine into your car.

You do know that your car will probably need to be upgraded to OBD1 to run the ECU you get with your swap also?
