A good set of lowering springs for a B16 civic or a CRX are the Progress Auto hybrid springs, set at around 360lbs (they are progressive) they are a good compromise for handling and comfort for a heavier engine.

Im running my stock SI springs in the front, which sit about 1.5" lower with the
weight from my motor and turbo. In the back im running a pair of springs from
an HF CRX, which also sit about an 1-1.5" lower than stock.

You really dont want to go too low on a daily driver, since a b-series will sit a lot
lower than the stock engine. Ive run just about every suspension setup over the
years, but after ruining a few trannies and headers/downpipes over the years,
i settled on the setup listed above.

If your really set on slamming your car, i would suggest a set of Sprint springs.
I've always loved the way they ride.
