I need an edumacation on integras
I am thinking of going with a DA integra as I am looking for a new car. The problem is I have no idea what the difference between an RS, GS, and LS is. DO they all come with a B18a, or B18b? Is there a large difference between the a and b motors? What are all the trim levels and what years were the DA chassis cars made? Really I dont want any power options at all nor a moon or sunroof. I also want a b-series as I intend to either go LS-vtec or join the darkside. Thanks

It sounds like you are on the right path. I ended up with a GS, with leather to make things worse, because I couldnt find an RS anywhere when I was looking last year. However, if you want the most basic, easiest to work on second gen, the RS is where its at. These cars are lots of fun, relatively cheap, and both used and aftermarket parts are plentiful. I have already done the JDM b16a1 swap into mine, really makes the car come alive in the upper RPM band, just as it shoud. I am also kicking around my turbo options, but from everyone I have spoken with this engine could make 220-230 whp, with a good turbo set up, more aggressive cams, and some good tuning.
I am sure you have probably figured this out, but GS is the one with too many options, LS is the middle of the road and RS is the base model. If I can offer any help, with my limited knowledge feel free to ask.

Just make sure you get a 1992 or 1993 DA Those years are OBD-I for DA
Also look on the tranny... YS1 tranny will be better than an S1 tranny
