that is a rev hard manifold(which i sold)
we are going to be building our own manifolds when the collectors get here (cody
)
the block is an ls block, golden eagle sleeves,9.0:1 comp, 81mm, crower rods, gsr block girdle.

How is that seal on the Z10 unit? I was looking at getting that one. I've been told the Moroso one has leak issues, but haven't heard any bad press on the Z10 yet.
Nice setup.
Especially the turbo. Bling Bling

honestly i dont know, i havent used it yet.
im sure with a proper installation, you will have no leak issue's with either oil pan.
i have a friend with a moroso pan, which has no leak issue's

3 inch should be good, but what kind of intercooler are you going to be using?

ive seen 3" make little over 700 should be fine ,as far as intercooler good question but by the looks of the rest of the set up im sure its all good under the hood
im goin with the "big" precision intercooler. "750hp"
i am than going to cut off the 2.5 inch outlets..make the hole 3 inch in the end tank, and weld a portion of my v-band to the intercooler. my whole setup will only have 4 "hose" conections, all v band... 1 coming out of the turbo, 1 goin into the intercooler, 1 out of the intercooler, and than 1 at the throttle body.

excuse my noobness and sorry for going a little ot, but what are the advanatges of having the fpr before the fuel rail?
edit: also, doesn't i/c piping need a little bit of play to handle vibrations? would using v-band clamps for the i/c piping cause them to be more prone to cracking?

Its just that the regulator other than stick allows for more flexibility in fuel regulation.

The idea of V-bands sounds good, but as mentioned already you need someplay in the system for vibration. That is why all kits use some connectors to help with the play that will be involved in the moving engine. V-bands will probably only give way to problems in the future.
i dont know what this guy uses for sizing...

but he makes 712 hp, i dont know and im not an expert but im asking, would 3 inch piping make that much of a diference than a 2.5". im sure there are some physics involved like air flow and volume. i guess the drawback would be it would take longer to spool????? probably not that noticable, but at the same token how noticable would 3 inch be to 2.5 inch???

we got the solid mounts under control,
thanks for all the reply's
im going to have this running within a month or so. ill be sure to post up the pics of the porject in progress..
as of right now...
the car is a 97 hx coupe(black)
everything interior wise is pretty much stripped, engine bay is empty, we are fabbing up solid motor mounts and a traction bar today.
no carpet, no sound deadning, no heater,no ac, dash is in but stripped(going to put my autometer guages in there)
i will have a pretty much full interior, when the car is complete, just want to get it running first.
car is "rolling" on 15 inch flat black konig traffik's ...bfg drag radials up front..and kuhmos on the back.
