Default Pics of my parts I installed. Fun and Longf day

Installed my goodies today.
Here is a before pic:

Parts I installed are: AEM ITR intake, JG 65mm TB, skunk2 intake mani, AN-R IM gasket, ported P72 head milled .020 using OEM gasket,skunk2 stage 2 cams, skunk2 cam gears, skunk2 valve springs and retainers, skunk2 high comp valves (up comp by .3), TODA header, T1R testpipe, Kenjis chipped p-28 with adapter harness, car was already equipped with a Apexi N1 catback.

Here is my question. We had it all hooked up and it had a vacum leak somewhere in the PCV valve system. What we did was cap it off at the intake mani as shown in the pic below. Is there anonther way I can route this cause currently I dont have it hooked up to the intake manifold at all. When its hooked up it idles really high due to a vacum lead somwhere.

Last but not leasy I also installed my ITR lip today:

Im guessing around 10.5 10.6 or so. The head is milled .020 and I have the skunk valves in there. The car is untuned for now but it is much faster than stock. When vtec crossed at 5700 the car comes alive then it seems like at 7000 the car begins to pull harder. My rev limit is 9 grand but i dont want to go that high until I get my injectors and hondata in there. Should be just over a month till I go get it tuned. For being untuned the car idles near perfect and it is fun to drive.

Serious question...you did this all in one day? If so... !

From your list of mods...

AEM ITR intake
JG 65mm TB
Skunk2 intake manifold
AN-R IM gasket
Ported P72 head milled .020 using OEM gasket
Skunk2 stage 2 cams
Skunk2 cam gears
Skunk2 valve springs and retainers
Skunk2 high comp valves (up comp by .3)
TODA header
T1R testpipe
Kenjis chipped p-28 with adapter harness

...it sounds like you have a really nice setup.

Once you get it tuned...post some videos of it on the dyno. I would really like to see what kind of numbers you get from this setup.

Overall, your car is really clean...literally! Nice clean engine bay. How many miles do you have on the car? Very nice car... I noticed that you had your car lowered. What kind of suspension are you running? Time to upgrade your GS-R Strut Bar to a stiffer Upper Front Strut Bar . Have you done the Type-R Rear Sway Bar Upgrade...I highly recommend this modification if you can do it .

Now if I only had the money to start working on my engine...

your gonna need alot more compression to take full benefit of those cams. those cams need over 11.0:1 to work good. i think a stock 01 type r cam or skunk2 stage 1 would be better for your setup.

i could be wrong tho, interested in seeing dyno results.

im guessing with honda/injectors.. 195/135

a friend has the same setup, except hes using stage 1 cams, jdm 4-1 header, stock jdm r cat and cat back exhaust (better than stock gsr stuff, but nothing like ur setup, but his is sleeper ) and hes pushing 180/130

your head is ported, shaved, higher compression valves, got a nice toda header, test pipe and n1 exhaust. i think u can hit at least 190 with good tuning.

Yes we did all this in one day. The car has 37k on it and I just bought it 3 months ago. As for my suspension im runnng the TEIN SS coilover set up. I plan on doig many more suspension upgrades after I get it tuned.

I know the cams need more comp but I think they will produce more power than the stage 1s. I plan to build the motor once I save up enough money but this prolly wont take place until next month sometime.

I will get some vids for sure of the dyno but im dead broke from all these parts so im back to saving again at least for a month maybe longer.
