hello, I have a bit of a problem with my motor. The motor is a b16a2 with i/h/e. For some time now, about 4 months, I have been experiencing extreme bogging. I am running a test pipe so it can't be in the exhaust. I am also running a p28 ecu with a stock jdm b16 program. Sometimes when I drive, check engine light comes on, the motor seems to skip, then it goes back to normal but the bogging is worse than before. The problem is that when I shut the car off, the check engine light goes off, I can't pull the code. If I let the car run and pop the clutch without turning the key, will the code remain in the ecu so I can pull it then? I also have unusual amounts of oil in my intake manifold. I am assuming it's blow-by oil. I have changed the pcv valve and it didn't help. I am not burning oil, but a little bit of antifreeze disappears every few months. Can somebody identify the problem?
