I'm obsessed with my F-max, but I would check out the Sidewinder, kinda funky but from what I hear it does the job, equal-length(drool) There was a group buy going on for these, I think it was around $299 (really cheap for great product) I hear some arguments about the collector size but for saving A/C I could careless with the downpipe you can fit on the sucker

The Lovefab SST can be fabricated to work with A/C. You must use a 2.5-3" flared downpipe though.

The cast sidewinder only needs an extra 13-in of piping. Also, the radiator hose needs to be modified to clear the manifold. If thats too much trouble for you, just get an inline pro manifold. People have made a lot of power with those.

i've got an inlinePRO with a precision sc61. clears a/c with no problem and i didn't have to grind anything down on the block.

i haven't taken it to the dyno to get it tuned yet, but it's a completely stock motor and i'm stomping z28's and t/a's left and right.

He does have a SC61 and inlinePRO manifold, I sold it to him. On all the B18c and B18b with a inlinePRO manifolds and 5-bolt turbine housing, there is little to none shaving of the block.

thats weird because we had to notch the block a lot to get the sc61 and inline pro mani to fit an KOTICCIVICs b18c1. i wouldnt lie about this.

Any idea if any shaving is required with a Lovefab SST and SC50 with custom 4 bolt housing on a D16?

why would i lie about mine? don't get me wrong, it's a pretty tight fit, but i didn't have to grind anything down.

I helped cyphear (meaning i did most of the work ) installing the prototype cast sidewinder. It wans't really that hard to do. For us the bitch was that no one had ever done it, meaning there were no instructions or help whatsoever. It may not be the easiest to install, but it wansn't that bad. Also, to anyone thinking of purchasing one, if anyone gets stuck on something you can always ask cyphear, me or even cody if you can't figure out something. The hardest part was figuring out the uper radiator hose, which we went to orielly's and got some that fit perfectly. I have those part numbers if you get one and need them. to lovefab and cody!

I'm running sc34/inline pro and I also didn't have to shave the block. I did however had to angle the compressor slightly toward the front so it would cleand and I wouldnt have any rubbing problems but it fit.

If you want a simple setup with a quality affordable manifold I think the Inline pro Stainless is perfect for you.
