Are you kidding me? Of course it's functional. It keeps my racing tires inline during trips to and from the track. It keeps me from losing my strut covers. I can hang my drycleaning on it (speedos, of course). The list goes on...

In all seriousness, it does about what you'd expect. Minimal effort with minimal expense for minimal gain, esp. in comparison to the stiffness added by the roll bar. But, a little is better than none, and it's just one more place to brace.

 

The ones on eBay for $145 plus shipping are not, I repeat NOT, original Honda Access. They are clones. Cheap knock offs.

 

Anything that says "style", you can pretty much asume its 99% imitation.

 

the ones on ebay don't look right ti me either. the R on the sticker looks wrong.

 

Always stick with a reputable shop run by somebody you can trust. there are plenty of people on this board with shops that can help you with any part you need...

You may end up paying a few bucks more, but in the long wron it wil be more than worth it.

 

I have these bars in stock they sell for $180 shipped..been selling them for almost 2 yrs now. The price is abit high as because messed up order and high yen cause price rise. Normally I sell them from$170-175 shipped.

 

damn! i remember when you sold me mine for 145. damn inflation!!

 

That and this war and terroist attacks made think inflate there just starting to level again..but it's crazy thinking the difference in 2 yrs.

By the way, thats the australian rear strut bar, i talked to my honda dealer about them and he said they might still have in stock, forgot to ask how much they were though.

 

where do you get those pieces above the shocks that have the holes in them like that...are they some jdm piece?? where can i get them?

 

you have to cut the stock ones.

 

you got to make them yourself. it takes some decent dremeling skills. they come with templates to trace and cut out. it is really simple
