fuel pump
would a bad fuel pump cause the car not to start?
I have a B18C-5 inside of a 96 civic hatchback. My car was running fine until it overheated one time. I fixed it and now the car wont start. I'm pretty sure I am getting spark but maybe not enough fuel. The car cranks but doesn't want to turn over. Could it be the fuel pump? any opinions would help thx.

yes, if the fuel pump don't work it would't supplied the fuel to the engine and the car won't start. the fuel pump must supply enough fuel to the engine at the proper preesure in order for engine to perform properly. i would performing a visual inspection frist (ex, fuel lines, fittings and conections for leak ) make sure the fuel-tank venting system is working properly. then performing a pressure test. good luck
