long crank to start

when I go to start my 89 si and its been sitting for a long time it take a long time for it to start and I can smell gas under the hood. it also sounds like gas is dripping into the motor when i shut it off. it has a sizzling sound. Any suggestions

LOL, gas diping in to the engine?? U are probably hearing the oil drip back into the oil pan or the windage tray. Don't wory about it, really.
