ok i was tryin to replace my fuel pump and i have to drop the tank. well i was trying to take off this line that is under that plastic shield and to take it off you have to take off this bolt that is on the fuel line. so to take the line off you gotta undo that bolt. well when i finally got that bolt loose i saw that i had ripped hte fuel line so i gotta replace it so i need to know what its called

 

Just get a section of fuel hose a replace the line. If I'm talking about the same hose that you are. I believe it's the fuel return line.

 

this isnt a rubber hose, i ripped the metal line. it has a bolt with a hole in it that can slide back and forth and spin on teh fuel line. then that bolt screws into a nut which actually almost looks like the metal connection for the fuel line at the fuel rail.

its the metal line on the chassis side of number 5 in that pic. its what screws into #5
