Default Finally Dyno'd My new motor today!!! [Video and Setup added]

Well finally hit the dyno with the new setup today... Was really happy with the numbers and smooth everything is now. My Downpipe is a 2" smashed/bent/destroyed/crushed POS that needs to be replaced ASAP as previously known, it made dynoing higher then 12psi impossible...

Final number's were...

@12psi on a mustang dyno
285whp@6750rpm
256tq@4500rpm
Dyno Video

Setup:
http://www.activeperf.com/memb...stare

These are on a mustang dyno, which reads lower then Dynojets..

Now I gotta get a real downpipe so I can turn the boost up and see what kind of high-end numbers I can get...

Thanks go out to Tom and the rest of the guys at Payn for the good work as usual...

my exhaust is 2.25 and i took my cat out and had a test pipe made and the stupid muffler place made me a 1.5 in test pipe so basically i have a 2.5 in down pipe then a 1.5 in test pipe and then 2.25 exhaust after the test pipe. i am going to get a new test pipe made of 2.25 to match the rest but i was wondering is that 1.5 in test pipe one of the reasons that is causing my slow spool time as well as hard to make high boost?

That downpipe is killing you. I love the torque number. At what RPM do you see 12lbs?

Thanks guys...

Yeah I knew my DP sucked but just one of those deals where 90000 other half projects on the go so I wanted to get the tuning done so I could wrap up alot of stuff, and worry about making big number after...

I think the 89mm pistons bringing it to almost 2.4l helped with the tq alot. It's raining like mad all day here so I haven't really got to even try it out yet. And the weather for the rest of the week looks the same so we'll see.

It pull real good once it grabs though..heh

I don't have my logs pulled off my ems yet, but I'll check later to see where full boost was made. I remmeber it was alot lower then I had thought it would be though..

My website is down with my car pics and mod list and such, but when it comes back up I'll add it to this thread..
