you dont have to take the whole steering column out, just the 5 screws underneath it and remove the plstic voer around the steering column. there are more screws that you are going to have to take out also. i have a 93 accord dx and i just put in the reverse indiglos yesterday. email me at scrubachu@yahoo.com for the rest of the specific details on remvoing the dash.

you have to remove the cover to the steering console, but if you want to make it even easeier to take out the dash, removing the steering console would make the actual removal and reinstallation quicker. there are screws behind the air vents you have to take out before you can get to the speedometer guage cluster. just use a flat head screwdriver and stick it into the side of the vent and pop it out. it comes out easily. then unscrew the screws there. there is 1 screw behind the change tray, 1 behind the plastic cover next to the change tray, 2 under the ac controls, and 3 i believe at the bottom by the ash tray, 2 in the front by the guage cluster. you have to remove the center console also to get the dash out. it is a lot of work, and i suggest you plan on the entire day to finish if you dont want to break anything.
