I remember reading that there is a company that sells the j's intake with a k and n filter instead of the j's one. I thought it was ATS, but when I emailed them they said no.

Anyone know?

 

i'd liek to know that too,..I just put my J's Intake on and the Filter actually looks Great! But i did hear that it made a diffrence w/ a K&N...???

I believe ATS sells the J's intake with the correct K&N filter.

And according to Flux, the K&N part number RT-4610 fits perfectly.

 

I just bought a K&N filter from one of the online retailers.. I even got the bling carbon fiber. I don't remember what size I got. I just know it was a big improvement over the stock J's. (in filter size that is )

Well,..My J's RACING Carbon Intake came today & has the K&N...its not the Carbon Bling one and looks very good.So I kinda remember what a AEM K&N looks like and this may be it.

Holy ****,..it is a Huge diffrence!!! POWER is up,up,up on da' Butt dyno!!!! Vtach is killer y0!

 

anyone know for sure that they have a K and N on a J's intake?

sounds like i will just have to buy the intake and then buy a K and N seperate.

it is RT-4610 and it fits perfectly. I think you will have to purchase the intake and filter seperately.

And it isn't faux CF, it is Titanium baby...

Is it the one with the chrome top? How do you know it's K&N?

 

well....I'm not 100% but I can't see how the K&N could be any better then the one that came on mine.Its ALl black w/ the redish filter.I'd snap pic's but its raining.

....as far as the inside of the filter goes,...Its nice as well,...its slightly opened w/ a center Cone shaped Arrow that leads it to the Base of the cone(where it attaches to the PIPE.fitting)! Pretty damn nice.
Either way...I'm not spending another $80-$90 on a filter that CAN't Be much better IMO

I just wish I could find someone who had the intakes in stock. been trying to find one.
