Tach Probs at High RPM, b16a1

I have a 89 CRX with a b16a1, PR3 ECU swaped in...I am using the stock SI tach...Worked great for a long time. Now under WOT the tach jumps around like crazy over 6500RPM....

The car seems to be running great though

any ideas?

i had the same prob, posted up and was told its the dizzy. Most likely ur Ignitor.

I had the same problem, but after 7500 the tach would peg out. There are 4 wires that slide onto the igniter, take them off and clamp them down tighter.
