Neon SRT-4 vs RSX-S
Anyone driven both cars? My friend just bought an 04 neon srt4 but I haven't driven it yet, only ridden in it... feels fast as hell though with tons of torque and picks up really quick. I know numbers wise the neon definately has more than an S, but with some bolt on's will a Type S run close with an SRT-4?
I LIKE the Rsx more just because of its stunning Appeal and all around great car with comfy steats, wheels are nice, great transmissions and awesome styling/colours and its aftermarket.
If your in the market only for speed then an Srt-4 will get you there fast.
I hate the way they look myself and Ive actually never hated neons, girls still call them neons and dont know a thing about them mechanically. The warranty is great to but I hated the seats (test drove 03) and the handling was nothing like I wanted and the RSX was everything.

The dealerships are REALLY cracking down on catching these things on the streets though speeding.
If they catch you racing or hauling *** and maybe even at the track, they void your warranty. Same thing with Evo's
Almost like they gave the great warranty because they knew they would take a lot of them away

a year ago i would say get the S. Now with the 04 srt coming with more horsepower and a quaife lsd, plus it still cost less than a type-s. Thats like a no brainer. Get the SRT.
i recently went to a dealership up here in NY and test drove the srt-4.
Pro's
Feels extremely fast. You get on it...and oh boy it does go.
Cute guages.
Nice Thigh support in the seats.
Con's
Cheap leather (Pleather) / Fabric Seats.
Radio is out of a dodge caravan. (extremely extremely cheap)
If u didnt know u were in an SRT-4 you could almost mistake it for a standard minivan.
Shift **** looks/ feels like it cost 10 bucks.
Sunroof button is rather tacky with its placement and look.
Its still a freakin NEON.
And how the hell are you going to have power windows in the front and roll down windows in the back?
M.S.R.P. $24,380 bucks
Conclusion.
Ill stick with a Type S. Bose Radio. Beautiful ful leather seats. Great Dashboard Etc. And its an Acura. Acura just sounds like luxury/performance

This looks like the dyno from a base rsx, or even an EP3...
I thought S's usually put down 160-170whp stock.. But if this dyno chart is legit, then I guess I DO have hope for my EP!

Yeah it covers ground fast cause of all that torque, cause of the stroke it has (no revabilty) its longer than a k24's. I live in florida and every friday night there are SRT-4's driving around racing people.
