Default p13 ecu on a 97 Prelude Sh Problems

I have a 97 Prelude Sh H22a Motor in my 97 Honda Accord. I bought a p5p ECU which is the 97 Prelude Sh ecu. I don't work b/c i don't know how to by-pass the immoblizer. So I was wondering Should i buy a p13 ecu and the OBDIIa to OBDIa conversion harness to run this motor. And Wil v-tec kick. Or what should I do I need HELP PLEASE!!!!! and does anyone wanna buy my P5P ecu or trade for a p13 ecu?

get a 96 OBDII P13 and the h22a1 injectors.

will an 96 OBDII p13 ecu work with my 97 prelude sh motor. and will my v-tec kick in..and why do i need h22a1 injectors?

you need h22a1 injectors because they flow 345cc and the p13 runs then. A prelude SH motor has 290cc injectors...so if you used an OBDII p13 (96) and 290cc injectors you would run really lean.

And why do you keep asking if your VTEC (notice spelling) will kick? They are all VTEC ecus of course it will.

but wouldn't you rather run lean that rich. So where can i get h22a1 injectors at? Are tehy hard to put on?

you'll have to find them for sale...you'll also need to get a resistor box as they are low impendance injectors

How true... but it is much safer to run rich as apposed to lean. You run the risk of detonation when running lean.
Not that it matters, but I was running 15 to 1 at one point and my car was running poorly, but quickly. Thank god the h22 is bullet proof!

Im kinda in the same boat as Camgriffin, Im doing a tranny swap on my 2K non SH prelude. I baught a p13 cuz I new I had to change to a MT ecu. But I know I need a harness, I was also told injectors and distributor, is this all? Plus I was wondering about the imobilizer also. Please help me out.

there are no immobilizer issues with any of the P13s (OBD I or OBD II). Thank the good Lord.

its for the injectors, it is required when running low impedance injectors. you can get one from a junkyard or buy it new from honda.
