Default DC twin cansister exhaust?

Is the DC twin canister a copy of the Mugen? How can a twin loop make more power than a straight through? Also, they say it is 50 state legal. So if I get pulled over by the pigs in Orange County California I can say "oh it's 50 state legal" and I can't get a ticket?

its like the mugen. The twin loop doesnt make power, it silences the exhaust.

so it must therefore restrict it's flow

So does it outperform a typical exhaust or is it all for look and sound. What size is the piping on those puppies anyway ?

Why do you say that?? cant it make more power and inhibit better flow??

the twin loop doesn't really restrict flow so to speak.. it just makes the exhaust go through more piping before it can get out. it's not like a chambered muffler where the gases have to split up here and there. it's more like a straight through but it's supposed to cancel out the sound when it passes through the muffler a 2nd time. maybe the sudden curves in the muffler might hamper flow a little bit.. i don't think it'd hurt it too much.
