I cannot shift anymore the clutch is really hard to press also it grinds on second gear. Somebody told me it could be the master cylinder or the clutch. I cannot drive my car at this moment to a mechanic, can someone please tell me if they know what the prob. could be...

clutch pressure plate may be messed up, if you can press the pedal and its really hard, then it wouldn't be you master cylinder.
