I got the mirrors but they came without the oem relay.

I've read that I can use the Radio Shack relay # 275-0249.

Has anyone used it and got the mirrors to work?

How would they be wired to an alarm?

is there manually a way of connecting the mirrors just to see if they fold/unfold?

there's white wire and a black wire that are in a seperate wire loom than the others. Could they be it?

I setup up the radio shack relay as demonstrated in the tutorial. It works and all but when you hold the fold button, the mirrors fold but when you let go they unfold. So that means to leave them folded, I gotta turn off the car to cut the power. Hmmm...

I might just wire them up the door lock actuators since they switch polarity and would work with arming and disarming the car.

Now that I think of it, my doors lock minutes after the car is moving so that would cause the mirrors to fold. Or I could just disable that. Decisions, decisions...

 

or you could make a latching relay circuit to mimic the cutting the ground, and then use the "open button" not only to open the mirrors but to unlatch the relay
