on my turbo im about to put on, it requires me to weld the down pipe to the cat. so i was gonna run open dp to teh exhaust shop to get some new 3" piping welded on. my question is since the obd2 has like a million o2 sensors at/around the cat, if i run open dp, will it go into limp mode or hinder performance or will it just throw a cel?

 

it shouldnt go into limp, but you WILL run a CEL.......ur could always get a OBDII-OBDI harness, or you could weld a bung into the new downpipe/flexpipe/w.e u wanna call it, and then just run an 02 sensor there
