Default Little LS project.

Hey fellow TAs havent posted in a while, my cars been going threw not so good times. It was keyed on both doors, axel is facked, brakes are wore down so bad. Ahh but all is well its getting a FULL tune up getting the axel, door, and new brakes as I type this. But the project isnt with my car its with my friends spare LS head that he gave to me last night for free so I said why not. Well anyways its a 94 ls head looks like its had its share of battles all stock.

My project while I had some spare time was to clean the head up a little and maybe even port it a little. Ofcourse this wouldbe done at home I was wondering what would i need to clean up the inside of the head and get all the carbon build up off and what tools i would need to smooth out the ports? PS I searched didnt find much info and please do not flame just want some more info and help thanks!

Don't polish the intake ports, just clean them.

The air actually flows better with the rough surface. Brake parts cleaner or carboratoe cleaner works pretty good with a small stiff bristle brush.
