Default turbo ?'s; what turbo, what manifold if I didnt want ac....and more.

Ive got a b16
-cp 9:1
-eagle rods
-blockguard stock sleeves
-gsr cams w/skunk2 gears
-SuperTech springs, valves, retainers

I wanted to run a inlinepro mani but I really dont need my ac so are they better choices that are around the same price and would flow better?

I want to hit 300whp but Im really clueless on what turbo to use. I have a y1 cable lsd tranny and I would like to continue using it but Ive heard alot of people saying it wont let the turbo spool up all the way because of how short it is. So couldnt I get a turbo that spools up faster and still put the power down that I want? I want to run no more then 14psi (looking more around 10)
Any suggetsions or links to other honda-tech threads would be great.

Im still learning everyday about turbos; Ive read the g2ic turbo guide I just would like some more input rather then what I think could work. Thanks guys

on your setup

run the sc34 turbo. thats what i have the spool time is great and holds till redline.
get the inline pro mainfold.
are you going to run the vafc hack or hondata?

sweet; I come back a few hours later and no "https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch" replies

hondata s200; I got a obd0-obd1 harness and p28

GUNIT-what whp numbers you got? How much hp can that turbo put out? max PSI?

I seen a lot of manifolds say "ac compatible" but im not worried about my ac. Another words If I spend x dollars on a manifold that keeps my ac; what if I spent that same x dollars on a manifold that doesnt keep my ac? Im going to find a better bang for my buck this way?

Thanks guys

hey jdmjerk. remember me from turbo tech on friday? i went back on monday and hit 302whp with my setup @ 10psi. i say stick with the inline. and get an sc61, you will have no problems hitting your goal. and if you want to save about $500 go with uberdata. here is the proof that uberdata is the ****:

oh and btw, that was still a very conservative tune. with your setup you could do a bit more aggresive and i think that would overcome the .2 liter disadvantage.

Im glad to see you got the numbers you wanted; I bet your a happy camper now! I hope I can do the same. I really want hondata because I want the launch control and the boost option. Im just very happy with what Ive seen done.
When does your boost kick in ndogg? You have boost all the way to redline?

Since your willing to part with the AC you should get a manifold who can take advantage of that, such as an equal length manifold from Full-Race or Lovefab.

yes, those manifolds are like 800. uberdata has both "boost" and launch control as well as full throttle shift control. for more info:

basically yes. uberdata works the same way that hondata does. you will not need any hacks or fmu bullshit. you will however need to chip your ecu (just like with hondata), i can help you with that too if you would like.

you'll make no more power from a tubular, equal length, cast, or log wiht the power you're looking for

no manifold design is better at that low of HP

but if you want to know about blakes stuff... http://www.pgmfi.org/phorum i suggest crome 0.90 though..it's a lot betteer than blakes new version...that's partially my fault...i gave him a virus accidently..oops

crome v0.90 is just so much smoother...and it supports RTP!
