Need parts advice from anyone who has installed the OEM front lip.
I just bought a used OEM front lip without mounting hardware. I'm trying to figure out what parts I'll need to mount this thing. From this diagram I've come up with over $80 in mounting hardware. I'm hoping upon closer inspection I'll find that some of the pieces are already there on my car. Does anyone here know for sure?

to be honest with ya i got mine mounted on with 4 screws all at the part where it bolts on at the wheels well.. been like that for a year.. mounting cost me 2 bux...
I dont know why people insist on getting this mounting hardware.
4 self tapping screws.
A bunch of bolts, washers, and nuts.
Screws on sides, bolts/washers/nuts on the underside and youre done. Why pay so much for the same thing from acura?

You do need 38, but you don't need 32, 34, 35, or 39. Those are all part of mounting the bumper itself. Actually I don't know exactly what 34 and 39 are. But 38 is a metal clip nut that goes on the 6 tabs on the lip (or bumper, can't remember which), and then the #29 bolt secures it.
Fortunately for me most of this hardware came w/ my lip when I bought it along w/ the whole front end off my friend's Integra. I'm a fan of mounting things up like stock like they are supposed to be, but alot of that stuff you can get from Lowe's. I know you can get the clip nuts and bolts and self-tapping screws from there. Now #4 and #25 you would need to get from the dealer. Actually 34 and 39 might be a part of that #4 bracket, I can't remember.

Well, number 3 (the front lip) includes all the #4,25 and 51's so you don't need those (that is what the line pointing at those numbers means)
So the only other stuff you need is
6 x #38 and #29
2 x #40 and #30
Please don't use the zip ties, it looks SSOOOOO ghetto. I just laugh at every car I see that has been done like that.
And yes, I used to be a Honda parts guy......

Well maybe he didn't get any hardware w/ the lip, so he might not have all the stuff that's supposed to come with it. I know at least one of the tabs on my lip was broken completely off when I got it.

Yeah, I have no hardware at all.
I just got home from work and took a look at the lip. 6 big bolt holes and 4 pairs (8) of small holes, then two small holes on each end for a total of 12 small holes.

According to the former honda parts guy I need #4's (2), #25's (4), #51's (4), #29's (6), #38's (6), #30's (2), and #40's (2). I'm not sure that all adds up (see pic). According to the list, I need four #30's which I think is right seeing how there are 2 holes on each end, just not sure why I need only two #40's.
I guess I'll try calling the parts dept. of my local Acura dealer.

Like I said man, now that its illustrated...
2 self tapping screws on each side where the first 2's are.
For the 6's, just get bolts with washers on them big enough to not go through the holes in the lip. Bolt/washer/hole/washer/nut and youre done. Same as OEM at 1/10th the cost.
You then have your support on the sides and support in the middle, thats all you need.
