Default NO SPARk

ok im doing an h22 in my hatch everything is done, engine is in , but there is no spark. the ecu works, cause i treid it in my dx, and it started right up. my fuel pump primes when i turn the key to on, so iguess its not my fuel pump or main relay. the dizzy is getting power. we took the cap off, and the inside of the dizzy spins. but still no help, any help would be uch appreicatted, i jsut wasted my whole spring break on just this problem

Check the connections to the coil. Test to see if the coil is putting out juice.

Make sure all the engine grounds are hooked up properly. Like the one on the thermostat housing or tranny. The problem might just be a silly thing like that.

New things don't always work.... I would check to make sure that you are getting voltage out of the coil.
But yeah check the grounds.

make sure that where the coil bolts up, that those are tight, those bolts are part of the circuit, they are a special anti corrosion bolt. just something to check on.

The ground on the tranny is the main ground... if you don't have that then.... it should be right below the starter... or maybe it's off to the side. It goes from the - battery terminal. Try adding an aditional ground wire from one of the bolts near the distributor to the frame. Make sure you get good contact.

Are you getting a check engine light, maybe a code 15 which means the distrib. is not gettting signal. Check the signal wire to the main relay. If the relay isn't getting signal, back track the cracked wire. If teh Main relay is getting signal, then the wire running to the distrib. is bad. You can back track the wire or piggyback the starter signal off of something else. A shop manual would be handy. SRS systems receive signal so you can piggy back it, but you have to wire a secondary circuit in order to maintain airbags.
