My rear motor mount is busted. I need a replacement. I did a search but only to find out that it is a pain in the *** to change that mount. I also checked prices on both models. The civic one is about $30 cheaper than the integra. Can someone tell me if they are the same? or which one to get? I've a 92 civic with a GSR swap. Thanks.

 

yes they are a pain to change.. how are you replacing the motor mount or the motor mount bracket that bolts onto the transmission?? cause if it is the motor mount your gonnna have a tons more fun changing that than just the motor mount bracket..

and yes the civic and integra motor mounts are the same...

 

yeah the 2 rear mounts are the same

 

If they are the same, why the huge price difference? I'm going to change the rear mount, by taking off the transmission bracket off first. I hope it is not too much pain. Thanks guys.

 

its just tight back there and not alot of space to work with.. u can do it..

 

Thanks for the heads up. I looked at it last night, I need a universal joint to fit the sockets to get to the bolts. I'm ready to bust some knockles.

 

The mounts are the same, but if you are talking about the T bracket or L bracket they are not the same. Youll need the rear mount bracket from a 94 and up gsr or type r.

I had to pull a rear mount outta an LS for my GSR swap into my EG civic, i did it in the cold and outside with a couple tools i brought and it took me about an hour to do, its not that bad just be patient, also the L brackets are different, found that out the hard way.

I only need to replace the rear mount, not the "L" bracket. Thanks for all your inputs. I'll get the GSR rear mount just to make sure it works out.

Is the mount new or used? Also, do you have integra rear LCA? how much is the fromt LCA's and are they direct replacement for the civics?
