Anyone have experience with this kit?

What shift linkage used?

-the mounts will work, depending what motor your going to put in.

-the linkage, u can cut and weld your stock one! , but i bought mine made. u can buy it from hasport (if you buy thier mouts too), i bought mine from a place called arizona race machine, but i cant find thier website anymore..but im sure other places will sell it..

I have those mounts but they are not installed yet......for 138 shipped they'll work for me (that is if they hold up)....Oh yeah they look better in person then the pic.

A stock JDM SiR linkage should work

This is what I am actually using right now. I just wanted to make sure that I can still use it again.

I was wondering more about ground clearance because the kit I am using now sits the oil pan about 2-3 inches lower than the xmember. Someone on here said that this kit sits the oil pan flush with the xmember. I just wanted to verify cause this is exactly what I want so my motor can stop kissing the street. LOL!

I thought the placement of the motor would dictate how long the shift linkage would be. I already have a SiR linkage and don't want to have to buy another one.

Anyone else actually have this installed???

that some one would be me i have these mounts in my car and i love them just got done doing the swap like a week ago or so. maybe longer. they are nice and stiff and dont jar the motor around. full solid polly rubber mount. and bolts in like a stock mount very easy to use. i was woried about the way the rear mount worked but as soon as i took the stock one out it went on just perfect and you can tell how it goes on by the way it looks. just look wierd at first. i did cut the front mount off the crossmember cause you dont need it plus they are solid urathane mounts. as fare as hood clearance its just perfect my hood closed with no cutting at all. as fare as oil pan clearance, the cross member is about flush with the oil pan maybe a little lower. and my greedy header sites about a 1/2 inch lower then the crossmember. not bad compaired to other mounts.

as fare as the way the mounts look the are a cool gunmetal color and have good quality welds on them.

hell my buddy has these mounts in a 93hatch with a h22 in it that pushes like 400+ HP, and he loves them as well.

as for shift linkage i use modified 90-93 teg linkage.

Just by your review I am so interested in these mounts. I was just looking at other opinions. Thanks joesef for all the input. Can you still get a pick of under your car?

I dunno, I wouldn't trust those mounts. They look VERY thin, and well, I dunno...ghetto.

Look at that rear mount, it's not even contoured like the rear crossmember is, it's just got that piece of pipe to make it even....

I dunno, I'd get the AZ Race and MAchine ones for 270$. Much better value for your money.

Billet Aluminum &gt; thin steel plates

i think the mounts looks kind of cheap to me.. ..i actually havnt got some mounts yet...but i really prefer Hasport... cheap mounts to me will make your car have wheel hops, etc.....

When HASport came out with their mounts they were not billet to begin with. HPC and Place Racing still havent jumpped on the billet wagon, and you dont see any complaints from anyone saying they are tweaked or sagged.

Joe...you are seriously backing up these mounts. Please, post some pictures of the fitment in your car and clearance below the engine bay. This is one of the major reason people I know hate swapping motors in EF's. I am seriously looking at this kit, but I want to make sure that this mount kit positively gives more clearance than what I already have. I just don't want to waste my money. I have no complaints with my existing mount kit...except for clearance under the motor.

When I bought them I was feeling iffy about them just because of the price bt now that some ones backing them up Im feeling much more reassured about them <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by joesefcivic &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">there fine i like them. nad they are not cheap looking. and as for being to thine there not! they were nice and thick on mine!</TD></TR></TABLE>

ok ok heres your damn pictures....lol image station was taken to long..

ok well you do have to understand that my car is a little low. and thats why it seems lower then it should be. hell i am dropped 2.5 inches on some stiff *** skunk2's for a teg!

i thought it was about flush with the crossmember but it actually sites about a half inch lower. not to bad. and the header is about the same. the pics were taken at an angle so thats why it looks like that. i have not bottomed out and smaked anything. and not hit anything with the bottom side of the motor so alls good to me!

That's about how mine look. My car is really low also. I think that my mounts hav been tweaked though. It feels like the motor moves at hard shifting. This seems like a decent kit to get. Thanks all for the input.

BTW, my kit is a version of the Place racing kit, distributed by Camp1320.com. Here's the clearance under my car.
