Help! I just swapped in my Si Sohc engine into my EG coupe and now the reverse lights won't come on when I throw it into reverse.

I checked 1156 reverse blubs & it was fine.

Is there a button or switch that turns it on when you throw it into reverse? That might be going bad but can't locate it.

Damn I can't see **** when I reverse at night, almost hit another car in parking lot. I need to get this fixed soon.

 

you missed a plug on the back of the tranny. simple fix. Find the connector on the tranny thats not plugged in, then find the correct plug on the harness...all done.

 

Bump for a picture of what to look for. My car's reverse bulb doesn't light up as well.

 

that plug is on the top of the transny close to the rear mount.

 

could be the connector too, mine went bad and i just cut out the connector and soldered and heat shrinked the wires together, lasted a long time, till i swapped motor/trans
