94+ integra shifter work on 93 gsr?
got a friend with a 93 gsr and he wants to change his shift lever. hes looking at a dual bend type (skunk2). but then today he noticed his cousins 97 LS has a stock dual bend type shifter too. so he rather get a stock one over a short shifter
so question #1 is..
will a stock shift lever from a 94 and up integra fit on the 93 gsr linkage?
question #2 is..
are the 94+ shift linkages the same as the 92-93 GSR ones?

i was just looking on modacar and the part numbers for the skunk2 shifter are different. so maybe they shifters are not the same. really want to know, cuz his stock shifter is sucking, and a 94+ dual bend would be cool
Most hondas will work with other hondas. You could do a Civic shifter if you wanted. There may be some modification involved, but what they hey, it may save you a couple of bucks. It's just a lever, can't be too bad.
The shifter is kinda the same but it curves the wrong way. So it will be more towards the stereo insted of closer to the driver. The bottom part is the same so it will bolt up. We tried this and didnt like it.

So put the linkage bolt through the other way, with a dual bend, hell, even with the stock one, if you put it in backwards it'll be leaning forwards too much.
And yes, both the linkage/shifter will work just fine in a DA/DB. Its actually a bit of an upgrade from the oem DA/DB linkage, it makes the gates much more defined, and eliminates quite a bit of the slop that you have in your throw.
With the g3 linkage it'll eliminate a LOT of the looseness while in/out of gear, like you won't be able to do figure-eights while in gear any more
