Default daily driver exhaust question

i have a 90 pretty stock teg, its a daily driver and i have to replace the exhaust, its dragging on the gnd! ouch whats a good exhaust that wont sound like a fart! but wont break my bank, ooh and Ca legal? i was lookin at Greddy sp2? or anyone have a stock system they wanna sell??

i just put a Apexi WS II on my G3 and i just love it.

you could buy custom piping for pretty cheap and buy a muffler to go with it. That would most likely be cheaper than buying a brand name cat back. Kteller8 sells awesome piping, and you can buy any muffler you want to go with it.

it's pretty hard finding a legal exhaust, find somthing that isnt too flashy and loud!

Even if its not carb legal, any exhaust will pass smog, i passed smog during my rice days with an obx n1 style muffler, its just that cops are ******** about your so called "modified muffler." Stay low key with a stock looking muffler if you dont want the hassle

to be legal in ca, is just has to be under 95db... thats it.

SAVE YOUR MONEY and put it towards a NEWER CAR!

Trust me i used to have a 91 ls NEVER modify it kept it the way it was until the day sold it!

thats was a crappy answer.

Get a WS or a ES oval muff w/ custom pipe.

no not really, i was driving around with a broken exhaust for 2 months, so i can really only compair it to how the broken exhaust felt, the exhaust was broken right before the resonator so basicly it was all leaving right after the cat, anyway, only felt a tiny loss in power from goin from the "strait piped" exhaust to the WS II. i think its better than stock, but i didint even remember what stock felt like after 2 months of the broken exhaust.
