On my 2001 civic if I put a nitrous kit with a small orphus or say no more than 50hp gain will the factory head gasket and pistons hold up or would I have to replace it. I already have plans to up grade fuel system, Timing control,and the ecm modafications.

 

You need to go to the forced inj. forum. Those guys really know their stuff.

 

50 hp max for safety. After that stock fuel pump is iffy.

You will be perfectly safe running a 50 shot if you use it wisely and have the correct kit. I would purchase a NOS drymanifold kit jet it for 50 horse and everything should be ok if it is install correctly.

 

it is really to new to put a h22a in it so i'll give it a bottle until then
