Default 14 inch wheels who runs them and what are they?

Like the topic states who is running 14 wheels on their cars other than steelies?

I have been looking into by new wheels for my car, but have been kicking around the idea of sticking with 14 inch wheels. I have been looking around, but not many companies that i know of make aftermarket 14 wheels. I know that volk made the ce28s in 14. My question is does anybody know of or own any rims that are 14 inches (other than steelies) that look decent. I figure that the wheels would be pretty light, not to mention how light on the wallet it would be to buy 14 inch azenis.

If anybody has any info or pictures that would be awesome.
Thanks for the help

stock HX wheels painted black!
Can't beat a ~10 pound wheel. Costs $160ish/ea new from the dealer. Azenis for them are $43/tire. I love it.

Search in the Autocross forum, there are several guys running 14x6 and 14x7 wheels on race cars. I can't say that they are particularly cheap or easy to find though. Keizer, Kodiak, Panasport, Circle Racing come to mind.

Diamond makes 14" steelies in various widths that are inexpensive, but they aren't lightweight, and are lug-centric so they cannot be balanced properly on a hub-centric balancer. Plus you said you wanted something other than steelies.

You can check out http://www.miata.net for Miata wheels. Many Miatas came with lightweight 14x6 wheels with the 4x100 bolt pattern to fit Civics. You have to have the inside of the Miata wheels' hubs bored out though to fit the larger Honda hub.

If you don't mind a narrower wheel (like 5.5"), Honda has made a ton of different 14s (both standard and optional) over the years with the proper offset and bolt pattern. A popular choice are '96-00 Civic HX wheels which are made by Enkei and weigh ~11 lbs apiece.

Until today/tommorow I have been rocking the HX rims for close to a year. Now I've got some ITR rims, but the HXs were nice. Light, good tires for them (Azenis, ES100s) and cheap.

There is group buy that is ending tomorrow where you can get 14 azenis for 50 shipped. There is a thread in the autox forum..

Thanks for the responses guys. I have been thinking about the hx wheels. I was just trying to see what other options there were out there. It seems that they are few and far between.

If there is anymore info keep it coming.

HX wheels on 195-60-14 Azenis

Great setup for the price and daily driving, but the sidewall was too high for me for any type of competitive racing, although many people do and have.

Miata alloys on 205-55-14 Victoracers

Good R compound tire, fat contact patch, very gripped and light. Fit over stock GSR brakes with a 5mm H&R spacer too

I'd go with 15's if I were buying new, better range of tyres to choose from. I've got aftermarket 14's that came with the car from Japan, genuine 'Yellow Hat"

i'm running on 14" civic hx wheels gunmetal with a polished lip......using falken ziex tires on them, and the setup is damn good for the money to me.....11lb wheel on a grippy little tire all for under $400 (200 for wheels and 180 for all 4 tires)

here is the only "detailed" pic of the rims to date...

Where did everyone pick up a set of the Hx wheels? I would be very interested in getting a set myself.

I have some desmond looking 14's that is 14x6.5. I dunno the brand of it. It came with my new used car. Also no need for hub centric ring on it. It fits the Honda hub perfectly.
