Few more parts needed to complete turbo kit. Need some advice
Now I am looking to build up the block/bottom end while the car is basically torn apart (might aswell do everything now). So, I've realized that Eagle rods would be a good choice (low cost, reliable). But I am confused on Pistons. There is a set of CP Pistons 9:1 (brand new) that I can get for 425 shipped. Should I jump on those or what? What kind of compression level should I want? Is that too low, etc. I plan on running 7.5psi conservative fuel tune to stay safe until I have enough money to build the entire block. Now I was looking for around 250whp is that possible? My setup is below.......
thanks in advance.
GSR...stock B18C1
Here is my setup:
Precision SC34 (w/ .63 exhaust housing with .76 trim wheel e cover compressor housing .60 a/r)
Inline Pro Manifold
Spearco FMIC
Walbro 255lp Fuel Pump
Oil drain/feed kit
RC 550 Injectors
Tial 38mm Wastegate 0.5bar
Tial BOV
Tuned: Uberdata
2.5" piping, 2.5" downpipe, 2.5" cat, 70mm Kakimoto Exhaust
....I think I have everything. I may be missing a thing or 2.
thanks in advance.

Thanks, I realize what kind of work the setup itself takes. I was leaning more towards learning more about the pistons and tuning Uberdata. Like how easy it is and how reliable a street tune is. One of my friends onboard is going to help out (ITSTOCK). Im just trying to figure this all out and see how things are going to look. Im very excited for my turbo setup obviously but patience is the key, which is why i've waited so long to get the right parts and spend the more cash then I could have. I just feel doing it right the first time is the best approach. Hopefully all goes smooth, I realize there are things that are going to go wrong, but eliminating some of those now would be great.
What do you think about the Pistons? Stay stock or go for the CP Pistons (425 shipped). Also, thoughts on Uberdata. I've heard about it and read about it, but how reliable compared to hondata (I take it this has a lot to do with the tuner himself).
thanks

how many pounds of boost you plan on running? It is my understanding that what is most likely to go on the internals is the rods, or the piston rings. If your not gonna hit more than 10 lds, i would wait and said for a complete rebuild/resleeve/overbore/cryo/shot-peend setup. Maybe get you a good clutch, and the guages, turbo timer, make sure ure radiator is gonna fit, and flush it and get fresh coolant in it. Did you do a compression/leakdown test?
I plan on staying at 7.5psi on a conservative tune for now. Possibly if everything goes right and I get the rods and pistons I may run it around 10psi. I will not be doing the complete rebuild this year (possibly over next winter). If the tune goes well then I expect some good things out of my setup.
