yes it will but with any cam upgrade if you don't bump compression then it's all for naught. Look into a PERFORMANCE header too. then tune it. othwerwise save your money

If you can get a good deal on the type-S cams go for it, but otherwise 600 dollars can get you better duration cams from crower or skunk2

and yes, searching will help you gain lots of information

A lot of people hate on Type-S cams. I myself have good luck with them. On a 98 base lude (USDM spec motor with AEM intake, N-1 exhaust, straight pipe, big bore throttle body, f/p regulator, Type-S cams) I was able to get 197 whp after tuning. His previous best without the cams were 186 whp. Maybe it's all in the tuning. Sorry... I would post dyno graphs but the place I use to work sold the dyno-jet along with the computer.
edit: I know there are better cams out there for the money.

I just tuned on a dynojet with an AEM CAI, AEM power pulleys, dc header, tanabe racing medallion exhaust with a racing cat., and a hyper-ground system. My base horsepower was 194. We added a hondata with boost and a p72 ecu. I ran 197. I was disappointed. 2001 prelude base model. I think i would go with the skunk2 stage 2's and a spring upgrade if you dont plan on forced induction. They cost more, but you will get more out of them. but im an idiot. by the way, what's with this faggy smiley face by my name?
