spoon n1 axle back, but what about the b-pipe?
after seeing the post about the apex n1 or greddy, i thought about when i had my own apex n1. it came with a whole cat-back kit, and as we all know, one of the main bottlenecks is the b-pipe. if i were to get just a spoon axle back, would it be much of an improvement even with the restricted b-pipe? i would assume that having a larger diameter piping all the way back from the can would be much more effective than just the axle back such that as spoon offers.
could someone elaborate for me? i know this topic has been beaten to death, thanks a bunch.

From what I've discovered, yes, the addition of a nice mandrel bent 2½" exhaust with a high flow cat will yield much better gains then the stock B pipe with the Spoon N1 Axle-Back portion.

i think majority of the manufacturers that offer a cat-back exhaust have larger diameter piping. 2.36" is the norm if i recall.
I don't think you would lose any or little horsepower from the B-pipe.
I saw a dyno of a Civic Si with a complete exhaust and an Si with just the muffler and the results were the same.
