Spoon N1 questions
Why did Spoon made a newer version of their Spoon N1 axle back?
Is it because the new one is design to use with their b-pipe and the old one is made to use with the stock b-pipe?
Or is it because they finally realize that a full catback is better than just an axle back?
Is the older version still available after the newer one came out?

Re: Spoon N1 questions (EGtoR)
The old Spoon N1 axleback contained a significant bottleneck in the piping. They have eliminated it with the new design. No, they have not made a catback yet.

Guys, just remember, chances are if an axle back is made to bolt up to a stock B pipe it's going to have a bottleneck. The systems that get rid of the flex/donut joint are more likely not to have a bottleneck. Even the Type One B pipe has the bottleneck so it can bolt up to the stock axle back or an axle back like the Spoon N1. Here's a pic of the Type One B pipe at the axle back joint.
And with the bottle neck cut out

The bottleneck is still there. Here is the new Spoon N1 flange that was cut off to remove the bottleneck. The flange measures 2" ID and is still made to bolt to a stock ITR cat back with the stock donut.

Seem like the new one is just looking prettier from the outside, but it is some old chit from the inside.

Re: Spoon N1 questions (EGtoR)
Then what is the difference between between the old and the new Spoon N1 if the bottleneck is still there in the new one?

the size of the piping seems slightly larger.... so the bottleneck is still there even with the larger one? does the ID change near the flange or something?
