Rear license plate bracket???
I went to mount my rear license plate for the first time on this car, there's no mount point, or bracket to screw the license plate to.
I called Acura Carland and asked them for the part #, they told me it's just two metal clips...so I ordered them. Here's what I'm looking at:

The clips I got from Acura Carland, they don't appear to mount to any part of what I have here. The top screw point on the license plate is above the bumper support there...my question is, does anyone have a picture of the rear bumper, with the license plate off that I can see...so I can determine what part I'm missing?
Or if anyone can look at my picture and tell me what I'm missing here?
Any help is much appreciated

looks almost like part of the bumper was cut out or something...
Also looks like you're missing the license plate lights, everything in the #8 box on here:

Thanks for the response...
Actually the lights are up there, but you're right, I'm pretty sure something was cut. Doesn't make any sense why you'd want to cut away that part, but who ever did it, did it symmetrical and clean.
I think I'm going to have to fabricate something to mount the plates to then.

what you have is a jdm bumper cover. the plates bolt onto a bracket atached to the body.
usdm cars/ bunper cover, the plates bolts onto the bumper cover.
1.you either need to find jdm plate bracket, but you need to loose the bumper suopprt.
2.find a usdm bumper cover.
3.custom make a bracket for it.

Interesting...
I bought the bumpers (98+ front/back) from a friend, who got them from someone else. I didn't know there was a difference between USDM/JDM...learned something new today
I did #3 tonight (custom bracket) and all is well...thanks guys for the tips
